These platforms are everything you want them to be; ridiculously high, ‘look at me!’, edgy—I’d say they are no doubt the epitome of the NEW platform. 

This day will mark the submission of my hideously long dissertation; coincidently (I have just decided) this day will also mark the glorious 24 hours (well, one in particular) that Santa or some other (non?) fictional gift-bearing character, all façades taken on by my bank account, will bring me gifts—masses of beautiful gifts.

Hopefully these wonderful characters will manage to get down a non-existent chimney or find some other more imaginative way of travelling so they can bring me……..

Borough market and all of its splendours. I always envisaged (don’t know why) Borough Market to lay somewhere within West London, Zone 2, reachable by the Piccadilly Line—obviously, though still much to my surprise, I was wrong. A great place for food enthusiasts, like myself…whatever you want, Borough Market’s got. I urge you all to go to the seafood bar and get pan-fried diver caught scallops. They were so good that I had a dream about them last night. 

Really couldn’t find a picture where I wasn’t indulging myself in food; the watermelon seemed the only one that managed to avoid a disturbingly severe lack of etiquette.
